Take two - here we go again! A day earlier than originally planned, Open Beta 1.1b is available for download. We used the last days to make changes according to your quality feedback (we were impressed!), so keep testing assiduously!

As announced last monday, we are now proud to present to you the Open Beta 1.1a! We have made it possible to run the Open Beta alongside with the last official release, so you do not encounter problems with your regular gaming. The Beta 1.0 release + hotfix is however a base requirement for Open Beta 1.1a. If you decide to run a server, please prefix the servername with "OpenBeta 1.1a". The changelist and install instructions for the Open Beta can be found in the /help directory of the archive.
Additionally Gonou, leader of our sound department, has reqested reinforcement for his area of work! If you are a sound designer capable of creating good quality sound samples in a decent timeframe without breaking copyrights, then we would be happy to have

The TO:Crossfire Team is very happy to announce its cooperation with the Anti Cheat Community (ACC) from TacticalOps
The ACC is a dedicated group of experienced and respected members of the Tactical Ops Community that primarily focusses on catching cheaters. In the past, the ACC has proven to be a highly reliable and effective entity inside the TacticalOps Community to counteract cheaters and we are proud to have the chance to work with them to make sure TO:Crossfire gets as fair as possible and cheaters have a hard stand. With access to the TO:Crossfire GBL (Global Ban List) which every server enforces and works in combination with the UnrealTournament 2004 UniqueID, the ACC will not only be able to track down cheater, they will also take care about giving them no chance to join a TO:Crossfire server in the future!
